This is a supplemental Warranty much like what you pay for at big box stores. We offer it for free with every item because we are not greedy like them.

EVERYTHING HOME (the “Company”) offers the following expressed limited warranty to the original purchaser or “user” of any Everything Home items purchased for personal or private residential use. For a term of one year the Company will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, the product or equipment in accordance with the terms and conditions.

This limited warranty does not cover defects, damage, or failure caused by common carrier, installer, user, or other persons, pets, or rodents, or resulting from, without limitation, any of the following: careless handling (lifting unit by lid, abrading finish), negligence, abuse or damage from abrasive or improper cleaners. Modification for any reason may void warranty. Acts of God, such as lightning, flood, earthquake, windstorm, hail, falling objects, or other natural phenomena are expressly excluded from any warranty coverage. In addition, THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES arising from any such warranty defect or failure regardless of cause. Any incidental or consequential damage to property or persons resulting from a failure of any Everything home product shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the original Item. This limited warranty does not include labor, transportation, or other costs incurred in the removal and/or installation of the original unit and/or installation of a replacement unit. Additionally, any costs relating to obtaining services for repair; loss of use, loss of sales, profit or business advantage of any kind under any circumstances are expressly excluded from this warranty. This warranty coverage is provided exclusively in the United States of America

Inspecting the unit for defects or damage in shipping prior to installation or use is the responsibility of the owner, purchaser, installer or building contractor who acts on behalf of the end user. Notices are conspicuously placed on and in the unit and on the shipping carton advising the installer of his or her responsibility. In the event of a defect or damage the unit must not be installed and or used and Everything Home should be notified immediately. The Company is not responsible for failure or damage that could have been discovered, remedied, repaired, or avoided by this mandated inspection prior to installation or use. Damage occurring in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. The user or installer MUST open and inspect the unit for damage when it is delivered. If damage is discovered, it must be reported immediately to the seller and the carrier. Your freight claims should be filed promptly thereafter. Failure to inspect in a timely fashion may result in loss of warranty. Damage occurring to the unit during installation is the responsibility of the owner, installer and/or building contractor and damage occurring thereafter is the responsibility of the user. For the customer’s benefit, the Company maintains a list of independent service personnel to perform required warranty service repairs. Such firms are not agents or representatives of the Company and cannot bind the Company by words or conduct.
